Challenge: The Sync Pitch Package

Prepare a past release for a professional sync pitch in three days.

This challenge helps you retroactively apply a sync-focused strategy to an existing song, creating a complete package ready for outreach to music supervisors.

The plan, day by day

  1. Day 1Assemble the Assets. Choose a song from your back catalog. Create a folder containing its high-quality WAV, 320kbps MP3, instrumental, and a lyric sheet.
  2. Day 2Craft the Pitch. Write a concise, one-paragraph description of the song. Include 3-5 keywords (e.g., 'warm, nostalgic, driving, hopeful'), the genre, and potential use cases ('end credits, road trip scene, uplifting brand ad').
  3. Day 3Build a Target List. Research and identify three music supervisors or sync agencies that specialize in the genres or media types that fit your song. Do not pitch yet; simply log their names and contact information.
