Design a release plan that fits the project.

Over 3 days, you will draft a high-level release plan for two different formats. This exercise will train you to think strategically about allocating your time, energy, and resources.

The plan, day by day

  1. Day 1: The Single SprintChoose one of your unreleased songs. Draft a 21-day release calendar leading up to its launch. Define one key piece of content for each week (e.g., cover art reveal, lyric video, pre-save announcement).
  2. Day 2: The EP CampaignOutline a 90-day release plan for a hypothetical 4-song EP. Decide which two songs will be pre-release singles and when they will drop. AI Step: Use an AI copywriter to generate 5 social media post ideas for your EP's official announcement day.
  3. Day 3: The Emotional Gut-CheckReview both of your release plans. Emotional Resonance Step: For each plan, write one sentence describing the core feeling you want your audience to have during the launch week. Do your planned content and messaging align with this feeling? Adjust where necessary.
