In this 3-day challenge, you will architect a simple but effective release plan that intentionally uses your new single to drive listeners back to your catalog, creating a powerful growth loop.

The plan, day by day

  1. Day 1: Identify Your ConnectionsSelect your next unreleased single. Now, review your back catalog and choose two existing songs that share a similar lyrical theme, sonic texture, or emotional core. Write down the connection in one sentence.
  2. Day 2: Craft a Compelling PitchUsing the 'AI for Musicians' guide, prompt an AI to write a 150-word DSP pitch for your new single. Your prompt must include the names of the two catalog songs you chose and the connection you defined. Then, edit the AI's output to add your authentic voice and clarify the song's emotional resonance.
  3. Day 3: Engineer The Listener JourneyOutline one social media post for the week your single is released. The post's call-to-action will not be 'Stream the new single.' It will be 'Listen to our new official playlist, which tells the story from [Old Song 1] to [New Single].' This actively directs traffic to your catalog.
