This challenge ensures your next single is set up for publishing success before it ever reaches the public, turning your release into a revenue-generating event.

The plan, day by day

1. Day 1Create and sign a split sheet for your next single with all collaborators. This is your non-negotiable first step.
2. Day 2Use an AI writing assistant to generate three versions of a DSP playlist pitch. Base the pitch on the core emotional story of the song, not just its genre.
3. Day 3Review the AI-generated pitches. Select the strongest one and rewrite it in your own voice. The goal is to capture the authentic emotional resonance of the track.
4. Day 4Create a simple release timeline. Set a hard deadline, at least four weeks before release day, for registering the song with your PRO and The MLC.
5. Day 5Log in to your chosen distributor. Find the exact section where you will input songwriter, split, and publisher information. Take a screenshot for future reference.
