This challenge simulates the final technical preparations for a release, ensuring you create and label your master files correctly to preserve your artistic intent on streaming platforms.

The plan, day by day

1. Day 1Finalize the pre-master mix of one song. This is the mix you would send to a mastering engineer. Ensure it has at least 3-6dB of headroom.
2. Day 2Use an AI mastering service to generate two masters from your pre-master. For the first, use a setting optimized for Spotify (-14 LUFS). For the second, choose a 'louder' setting. Label the files perfectly (e.g., `Artist_Song_Master_Spotify_2448.wav`).
3. Day 3Critically A/B test the two masters on your phone and in your car. Which version best preserves the song's Emotional Resonance and dynamic journey? Write down your conclusion. This is your final check before delivery.
