The plan, day by day
- Day 1Lock the release date. Set distributor pitch deadline at 21+ days out.
- Day 2Write the one-sentence story of the song. Save it where you can copy-paste it.
- Day 3Finalise cover art and at least three derivative visuals (square, vertical, story).
- Day 4Submit to your distributor with full metadata, splits, and pitch text.
- Day 7Public announcement post: visual + date + the one sentence.
- Day 10Share a 30-second clip of the song in context. Live, raw, or behind-the-scenes.
- Day 14Open pre-save. Pin to all profiles. DM your 25 most active fans personally.
- Day 17Share the story behind the song — written or voice note. Long-form on one platform.
- Day 19Second clip from a different angle. Different setting, same song.
- Day 20Thank-you post drafted and queued for launch day.
- Day 21Release. Reply to every comment for the first 90 minutes. Post the thank-you.
