This 3-day thought experiment challenges you to project your release strategy over the next three years, forcing you to align your creative output with tangible business goals.

The plan, day by day

  1. Day 1: Year 1 - The StartupYou are a brand new artist. Map out your release plan for the next 12 months. How many singles? At what frequency? What is your single most important business goal for this year (e.g., 'Gain 1,000 true fans,' 'Secure one sync placement')?
  2. Day 2: Year 2 - The GrowthAssume you achieved your Year 1 goal. What is your release plan for the next 12 months? Will you introduce an EP? Why? What is the new primary business goal? AI Step: Use an AI tool to brainstorm 5 potential brand collaborations that would align with your planned EP release.
  3. Day 3: Year 3 - The EnterpriseYou are now an established artist with a core audience. Is Year 3 the time for an album? A tour? A deluxe reissue? Outline the major strategic initiative for the year. Emotional Resonance Step: Review your entire 3-year plan. What is the emotional story your brand tells over this period? Is it consistent and compelling?
