This 3-day challenge guides you through the process of auditing the publishing and rights implications for a hypothetical release in each of the three formats.

The plan, day by day

1. Day 1: The SingleTake one unreleased song. Draft a complete split sheet. Research the exact steps to register this single track (ISWC and ISRC) with your specific PRO and distributor. Document the process.
2. Day 2: The EPOutline the splits for a 3-song EP with at least one co-writer. Create a spreadsheet to track the ISRCs and ISWCs for all three songs. AI Step: Use an AI metadata tool to generate 15 keywords (mood, instrumentation, use-case) for each of the three songs to prepare them for a sync library.
3. Day 3: The AlbumCreate a master spreadsheet for a hypothetical 10-track album. Include columns for Song Title, All Writers, Splits (%), PRO, Publisher, ISRC, and ISWC. Emotional Resonance Step: For each of the 10 tracks, write a one-sentence "emotional pitch" describing its core feeling for a sync supervisor.
