This 5-day challenge pushes you to use data and AI to find a specific growth opportunity for one of your songs and then calculate its potential financial impact on your publishing.

The plan, day by day

1. Day 1Select one of your songs on streaming services. Using your artist dashboard, identify its top 3 fan-made playlist adds and top listener cities.
2. Day 2Use an AI-powered music analytics tool or manual searching to find 10 similar user-generated playlists that you are not currently on. Note their curators if possible.
3. Day 3Draft a short, personal outreach message for three of those curators. In your message, explicitly reference their playlist's mood and explain your song's emotional fit.
4. Day 4Create one piece of short-form video content (Reel, Short) for your song. The video's concept must be a direct visual representation of the song's core emotional theme.
5. Day 5Calculate the potential increase in annual mechanical royalties if your efforts generated an additional 100,000 streams. Use an industry estimate (e.g., ~$100 per 100k streams for the composition) to make it tangible.
