This challenge walks you through a five-step audit of your catalog's administrative health, ensuring your top tracks are prepared for immediate sync licensing opportunities.

The plan, day by day

1. Day 1Curate Your A-List. Select your top five songs best suited for sync. Create a folder for each containing the final WAV, MP3, and instrumental version.
2. Day 2Build Your Metadata Sheet. Create a spreadsheet listing the Title, Composer(s), Publisher(s), PRO, and Split Percentages for each of your five A-List songs.
3. Day 3Verify Your Splits. For every co-written song on your list, confirm you have a signed split sheet on file. If not, send one out for signature today.
4. Day 4Check Your PRO Portal. Log in to your PRO account and verify that all five songs are registered correctly with all writers and publishers listed.
5. Day 5Consolidate and Prepare. Gather all documents (split sheets, metadata) into your song folders. You now have five 'one-stop' packages ready for pitching.
