This 5-day challenge reorients your creative process toward long-term catalog building. You will define your artistic vision, begin a new song with intention, and use professional tools to ensure its durability.

The plan, day by day

1. Day 1Define your 'Three-Year Artist Statement.' In one page, describe the artist you want to be in three years. What themes will your catalog explore? What impact will it have?
2. Day 2Using your statement as a prompt, use an AI tool (as shown in 'AI for Musicians') to generate 10 unique song concepts or titles that align with your long-term vision.
3. Day 3Choose one concept. Write a single verse and chorus. Focus only on capturing a precise, honest feeling. Do not worry about production or perfection.
4. Day 4Pressure-test the Emotional Resonance. Play or show the lyrics to a trusted peer. Ask them: 'What specific emotion does this make you feel?' Note their response.
5. Day 5Revise your verse and chorus based on the feedback, aiming to clarify and intensify the song's emotional core. This is the first brick in your long-term catalog.
