Over three days, you will audit the legal and descriptive readiness of one of your songs, ensuring it is primed for discovery by music supervisors and sync agents.
The plan, day by day
- Day 1Select one of your released songs. Verify that it is correctly registered with your PRO (ASCAP, BMI, etc.) and your publishing administrator with 100% of shares accounted for. Confirm all co-writer information is accurate.
- Day 2Using an AI writing tool as detailed in 'AI for Musicians,' generate three compelling, one-sentence descriptions for your song. Each should be tailored to a different sync use case: an indie film, a corporate ad, and a social media influencer's video.
- Day 3Review the AI-generated descriptions. Select the strongest one and refine it. Does it accurately capture the song's Emotional Resonance? Now, identify one music supervisor whose work you admire and save their contact info. Your pitch is now one step closer to reality.
