Over three days, you will deconstruct the emotional core of a successful song and use that insight, along with AI-powered brainstorming, to refine the central hook of your own work for maximum impact.
The plan, day by day
- Day 1Analyze the DNA of a song that made you a fan. Map its emotional journey from the first verse to the final chord. Identify the single moment—the lyric, the melodic turn—that solidified your connection.
- Day 2Take the core lyric from your current work-in-progress. Following the process in the 'AI for Musicians' guide, use an AI tool to generate ten alternative phrasings. Your prompt should be: 'Refine this lyric for greater emotional specificity and vulnerability.'
- Day 3Rewrite your hook using insights from Days 1 and 2. Record a simple voice memo. Listen back. Gut-check the Emotional Resonance: Does this new version make the listener feel something more specific and potent than the original? Is it more honest?
