In 3 days, you will use your streaming data to identify a 'gateway song'—a track that leads to further listening—and create a piece of content designed to amplify this effect.
The plan, day by day
- Day 1Find Your Gateway. Log into your Spotify for Artists. Go to Audience > Source of streams. Identify which of your songs is most frequently discovered via user playlists and radio. This is likely your 'gateway song'.
- Day 2Test the Resonance. Listen to your gateway song and one other track from your catalog. Write down the emotional story that connects them. Why would someone who loves the first song also appreciate the second? This is your narrative.
- Day 3AI-Assisted Content Creation. Based on the narrative from Day 2, use an AI tool ('AI for Musicians') to script a 30-second video. Prompt it like this: 'Write a short video script for a musician explaining that if you like the hopeful feeling of [Gateway Song], you'll love the deeper story in [Second Song].' Record and post the video.
