This challenge bypasses playlisting trends and focuses on the core asset: the song. You will develop a single, emotionally potent hook designed to capture attention in any listening context.

The plan, day by day

1. Day 1Define the emotional target. Write one sentence describing the precise feeling you want to evoke. Use our AI for Musicians guide's prompting techniques with a tool like ChatGPT to brainstorm five lyrical concepts that align with this feeling.
2. Day 2Draft the lyric and melody for your hook. Record a simple voice memo. Now, test its Emotional Resonance. Send the memo to three trusted peers and ask: 'What one word describes the feeling this gives you?' Their answers must align with your target from Day 1.
3. Day 3Produce a simple, clean demo of the hook (e.g., vocal, one chordal instrument, simple beat). The goal is clarity, not complexity. Post the final demo in the Skool community for peer feedback on its playlist potential.
