This challenge will guide you through a critical analysis of one of your songs, helping you define its emotional core, musical strengths, and commercial potential for pricing and pitching.
The plan, day by day
- Day 1Deconstruct your song's craft. Write down its key, tempo, structure, and lyrical themes. Identify the single most powerful melodic or lyrical moment.
- Day 2Pressure-test its Emotional Resonance. Play the song for three trusted listeners (separately) and ask them to describe the primary feeling it evokes in one word. Note if their feedback aligns with your intention.
- Day 3Leverage AI for positioning. Use an AI writing tool to generate five adjectives that describe your song's mood. Then, use those words to write a one-sentence pitch describing its ideal use in a film or ad. This is your value proposition.
