The plan, day by day
- Day 1Take one of your completed songs. Create a split sheet that breaks down ownership not by a single percentage, but by contribution to each structural part: Verse 1 Lyrics, Chorus Melody, Bridge Chords, etc. Use an AI legal-tech tool to check a template split-sheet agreement for clarity.
- Day 2Write a one-paragraph justification for the percentage you assigned to the song's most emotionally resonant section. Frame your argument around its importance to the listener's journey and its commercial value as the core hook. This prepares you for real-world collaborator conversations.
