The plan, day by day
- Day 1Open your Spotify for Artists dashboard. Identify your all-time top 3 songs and your top 5 listener countries.
- Day 2Log in to your PRO and publishing administrator portals. Confirm that your top 3 songs are correctly registered in both systems.
- Day 3 (AI Leverage)Use an AI tool and public data on royalty rates. Prompt it: 'Estimate the potential lifetime mechanical royalties for a song with 500,000 Spotify streams.' Note the result as a tangible goal.
- Day 4Review your royalty statements. Can you see earnings broken down by song and territory? Identify one country where you have listeners but see no income.
- Day 5 (Emotional Resonance)Find one positive comment online about your top song. Juxtapose this evidence of emotional impact with the royalty data you've been reviewing. This is the value chain in action.
