Over 5 days, you will audit your existing EPK—or build one from scratch—against the five essential business assets, ensuring your presentation is professional, cohesive, and commercially viable.
The plan, day by day
- Day 1The Bio. Write or rewrite your artist biography to be exactly 150 words. Focus on your current artistic value proposition and sound, not your entire life story.
- Day 2The Photos. Select your 3 to 5 best high-resolution, professional press photos. They must be stylistically consistent. If you do not have these, your task is to research 3 local photographers and inquire about rates.
- Day 3Leverage AI. Use an AI writing tool to create a clear 'Contact & Booking' section. Prompt: 'I am a [genre] artist. Write a professional paragraph for my press kit that directs booking inquiries to [email], press to [email], and licensing to [email].'
- Day 4The Music & Press. Choose your 3 strongest tracks and one best press quote or achievement. Create a single document with a private streaming link and the quote formatted cleanly.
- Day 5The Emotional Resonance Test. Look at all five assets together: Bio, Photos, Music/Press Doc, and Contact Info. Do they tell one cohesive story that reflects the feeling of your music? Identify the weakest link and make one adjustment to improve alignment.
