Establish your weekly artist-as-CEO review rhythm.
This 7-day challenge installs the fundamental weekly review process that will become the command center for your artist business. You will block time, define your metrics, and use AI to build a sustainable system for strategic oversight.
The plan, day by day
- 1Block Your CEO Time. Schedule a recurring 90-minute 'CEO Sync' in your calendar for the same time each week.
- 2Define Your KPIs. Identify 3 key performance indicators to track weekly. (e.g., Monthly Listeners, Follower Growth, Email Subscribers).
- 3Set Up Financials. Create a simple spreadsheet to track monthly income and expenses. This will be your 'Financial Friday' dashboard.
- 4AI Business Coach. Prompt an AI tool: 'I am an independent musician. Act as my business coach and give me a 5-question agenda for my first weekly CEO Sync meeting with myself.'
- 5Run Your First Sync. Using the AI-generated agenda, conduct your first 90-minute CEO Sync. Review your KPIs and financials. Set one priority for next week.
- 6Emotional Resonance & Mission. Review your artist mission statement (or write one). Does it align with your business goals? Revise it until your 'why' feels connected to your 'what'.
- 7Commit to the Rhythm. At the end of the week, write down one sentence about how having this structure will support your creative work. Post it where you can see it.
