Sync-Ready in 10 Days — The pitch that gets you the placement

Get one supervisor-ready package out the door this week.

A ten-day sprint to make your strongest song genuinely sync-ready and start one new supervisor relationship. The output is a folder, a pitch, and a sent email.

The plan, day by day

  1. Day 1Pick the one song most likely to land in a film/ad/TV context.
  2. Day 2Export full mix, instrumental, clean radio edit, and stems. Name files consistently.
  3. Day 3Confirm splits are signed and the song is registered at your PRO.
  4. Day 4Write a one-sentence pitch and three mood tags for the song.
  5. Day 5Build a single folder (or unlisted page) with everything supervisors need.
  6. Day 6List ten supervisors, music coordinators, or filmmakers within two degrees of you.
  7. Day 7Pick the three most accessible. Write personalised intros — no templates.
  8. Day 8Send the first one. Use the folder link. Ask nothing of them.
  9. Day 9Send the other two. Add all three to a quarterly follow-up calendar.
  10. Day 10Save the folder structure as a template for every future sync-ready song.
