Sync-Ready in 10 Days — The pitch that gets you the placement
Get one supervisor-ready package out the door this week.
A ten-day sprint to make your strongest song genuinely sync-ready and start one new supervisor relationship. The output is a folder, a pitch, and a sent email.
The plan, day by day
- Day 1Pick the one song most likely to land in a film/ad/TV context.
- Day 2Export full mix, instrumental, clean radio edit, and stems. Name files consistently.
- Day 3Confirm splits are signed and the song is registered at your PRO.
- Day 4Write a one-sentence pitch and three mood tags for the song.
- Day 5Build a single folder (or unlisted page) with everything supervisors need.
- Day 6List ten supervisors, music coordinators, or filmmakers within two degrees of you.
- Day 7Pick the three most accessible. Write personalised intros — no templates.
- Day 8Send the first one. Use the folder link. Ask nothing of them.
- Day 9Send the other two. Add all three to a quarterly follow-up calendar.
- Day 10Save the folder structure as a template for every future sync-ready song.
