Challenge: Map Your Song's Playlist Potential

Analyze your song's structure for algorithmic success.

This 2-day challenge tasks you with using AI to analyze your song's data profile and comparing its structure to successful songs on your target playlists.

The plan, day by day

1. Day 1Select one of your finished songs. Use an AI music analysis tool (as recommended in 'AI for Musicians') to identify its objective data: BPM, key, danceability, energy, and valence. Create a 'spec sheet' for your track.
2. Day 2Find a major playlist you want your song to be on. Analyze the structure and emotional arc of the top 3 songs on that list. How does your song's structure and energy profile compare? Identify one structural change (e.g., shortening the intro) that would make your song a better fit, and articulate why it would improve its emotional delivery for that context.
