The plan, day by day

3. 3Record a clean, complete demo of the song. This recording serves as the definitive version of the composition.
4. 4List every individual who contributed to the lyrics, melody, or structure of the song. Be precise.
5. 5Draft a split sheet. Assign ownership percentages to each contributor based on their documented creative input. Have all parties agree in writing.
