The 3-Day AI Writing Sprint
Use AI to spark an idea, then make it undeniably human.
This challenge uses AI as an initial spark for a new song. You will generate a basic musical idea with AI, then spend the next two days rewriting, performing, and infusing it with your own unique musicality and emotional perspective.
The plan, day by day
- Day 1Use an AI music generator to create a 4-bar chord progression and a simple drum loop. Separately, use an AI text generator with a personal, emotional prompt (e.g., 'the feeling of returning home after a long time') to create a list of evocative phrases and words.
- Day 2Ignoring the AI's phrases for now, write your own original melody and core lyric over the AI-generated progression. Focus entirely on making the melody convey the emotion from your Day 1 prompt. Record a simple voice note.
- Day 3Listen back to your voice note. Now, re-record the progression and drums yourself, adding human feel and imperfections. Finalize your lyric. Does the complete idea have a clear emotional resonance? Does it feel like your story, not a machine's?
